- User Content: Goals, dreams, progress entries, motivational quotes, and any other content you create within the app.
- Images: Photos you select from your device's photo library to attach to your dreams.
- Preferences: Settings, notification preferences, theme preferences, and customization options.
Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type and operating system (collected automatically by the app framework for compatibility purposes only).
Important: We do NOT collect:
- Personal identification information (name, email, etc.)
- Location data
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Any data that leaves your device
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Store your goals, dreams, and progress data locally on your device
- Display your content within the app
- Send you local notifications for goal reminders and daily motivation (only if you enable them)
- Personalize your app experience (theme, preferences)
We do NOT:
- Transmit your data to any servers
- Share your data with third parties
- Use analytics or tracking services
- Access your data remotely
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device only.
Your data is stored:
- Locally: On your device using React Native AsyncStorage, which uses secure storage mechanisms provided by your operating system
- No Cloud Storage: We do not offer cloud sync or store your data on any servers
- No Backend: The app operates entirely offline and does not communicate with any servers
Your data remains private and is only accessible on your device. We cannot access your data, and it is not transmitted anywhere.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to anyone.
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- We cannot access your data
- We do not share your data with third parties
- We do not use analytics or tracking services
- Your data is never transmitted to any servers
The only exception is when you explicitly use the "Share" feature in the app, which allows you to share an image of your progress through your device's native sharing capabilities. This sharing is controlled entirely by you and uses your device's standard sharing mechanisms.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
International Data Transfers
Not applicable. Since all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to any servers, there are no international data transfers.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Security
Your data is protected by:
- Device Security: Your data is stored using your device's secure storage mechanisms (iOS Keychain/Android Secure Storage)
- Local Storage Only: Since data never leaves your device, it is not vulnerable to network-based attacks
- No Transmission: There is no data transmission, eliminating risks associated with data in transit
However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. If your device is lost, stolen, or compromised, your data may be accessible to anyone with access to your device.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
